1) Upside down Viking Mansion
That mansion in Sweden in Dubai is situated on an island. It consists of a private beach and a forest which is man-made. All the plants in the forest are imported by the Maldives. It has an Infinity pool. All the furniture in that mansion is made by Bentley. It has a spa room, a private gym, and an elevator in the house. The most amazing thing about that mansion is that it has a snow room with -10C. There is a machine that produces snow. The whole place uses solar panels for electricity. The master bedroom has a huge bath, Jacuzzi, and a closet. On the 2nd floor, there is a 20,000 square feet huge and beautifully embellished living room where all the functions can be held. That house was designed by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939 in southwest Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands. It is one of Wright's greatest masterpieces. In the living room, a fireplace hearth is integrated with boulders. A rock that spreads up to a foot from the living room, links inside to outside. Initially, it was intended to be cut by wright but Kaufmann; the owner of that house suggested leaving it as it was. From the living room, a staircase leads towards the waterfall. The stone floors are waxed. There is very little space in stonework so that the stone wall remains unbroken by glazing. Above the main house stands a four-bay carport, a servant’s quarter, and a guest house. In the guest house, there is a swimming pool that overflows and drains to the river below. This house is on the list of 28 places to visit ‘before you die’.
3) Villa Leopolda
Leopolda is a large villa covering 18 acres area of land located in Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the French Riviera. Villa Leopolda is considered the third-largest home in the world. It has 19 master bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. All the bedrooms are decorated richly which are lavished with antique and vintage furniture. Its terrace offers a breath-taking view. It also has a stunning 8 hectares garden with many varieties of beautiful flowers. This villa has been used for a film by Hitchcock and in many famous TV shows.
4) Palais Bulles
The 13,000 square metres large Palais Bulles Or “Bubble Palace” is situated in Théoule-sur-Mer, near Cannes. The designer of this house Hungarian architect Antti Lovag, hates straight lines, so he designed this house like bubbles and curves. The house consists of so many circles of different sizes. There are 29 rooms from which 10 are bedroom suites with round beds. And the other contains a reception hall, panoramic lounge, and 500-seat open-air amphitheater. Rooms have curved bookshelves, roofless curves, and cave-like corridors. Every bedroom is decorated by a specific artist. Waterfalls spilling in pools offer a stunning view.
5) Witanhurst
Witanhurst is a mansion situated on 5 acres (2.0 ha) of grounds. in Highgate, north London. It has 65 rooms including 25 bedrooms. Other rooms include the Dining Room, Chinese Room, Billiard Room, and Gallery hallway. The largest one is the ballroom, 70 feet (21 m) long with a height of 20 feet (6.1 m). It has a wooden floor and the wall panels are of timber in walnut cornices embellished with gold leaf. Most of the bedrooms have opulent classical style. It has a Drawing Room, Study Room, Entrance Hall, and staircases. All the rooms are lavishly decorated. It has been used as a filming location by various production companies to shoot films and television programs such as The lost prince and Tipping the velvet.
